New Delhi: A case has come to light in Delhi’s Shahdara district in which a youth was allegedly lured through social media and called to a restaurant in Anand Vihar, where he was allegedly made to pay a hefty bill. Police have arrested two accused in connection with the case.

According to a senior police officer, the accused contacted the youth through social media and called him to a restaurant in Anand Vihar. There, he was allegedly made to pay a high bill. The youth was also allegedly assaulted when he objected.

Two Accused Arrested

According to police, the arrested accused have been identified as Aman Gurjar (28) and Mohammad Arshadullah Alam (28).

Police are investigating other aspects related to the case and are trying to determine how many more people could be involved in such incidents.

Social Media Contact Under Investigation

During the investigation, police are examining the alleged social media contact, activities that took place at the restaurant and details related to the payment. Police are also investigating how the accused established contact with the youth and how the bill amount was determined.

The police investigation is underway, and the allegations against the accused will be subject to final determination through the judicial process.
