Gamharia: A tragic road accident near Usha Mor in Gamharia on the Tata-Kandra main road late Tuesday night claimed the lives of three people, including a minor. The accident occurred at around 2:30 am, following which panic spread in the area.

According to information, all three were travelling on the same bike towards Gamharia. During this time, an unidentified vehicle coming from behind at high speed and in an uncontrolled manner rammed into their bike. The collision was so severe that all three riders fell onto the road and sustained serious injuries.

Two people died on the spot, while the third was in critical condition. With the help of local residents and police, an attempt was made to immediately take the injured person to the hospital, but he also died on the way. Thus, all three bike riders died in the accident.

After the incident, the driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the spot. Police have started an investigation and are examining CCTV footage from cameras installed nearby to identify the vehicle and its driver. The cause of the accident is also being investigated.

The incident late at night has left the families of the deceased mourning. Police have taken the bodies into custody and started the necessary legal proceedings. Following the accident, questions have once again been raised about speeding vehicles and road safety on the Tata-Kandra main road.
