At two in the morning today, Suman Godhade, forty, passed away from his wounds while he was being treated at Sassoon Hospital.

While undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital this morning at two in the morning, Suman Godhade, forty, passed away from his wounds. The event happened during a factory fire at Talwade, which is near Pimpri and Chinchwad. Commissioner Shekhar Singh sent his sympathies to the family.

Six people lost their lives and ten more were injured in a sad incident that happened at a Talwade business on December 8. The injured were brought to Sassoon Hospital in Pune right away in order to receive further medical attention. Regretfully, on December 9, Shilpa Rathod (31) also died, having been preceded in death by Pratiksha Torane (16) and Kavita Rathod (45). Unfortunately, on December 10, he passed away from his wounds while receiving care at Sassoon Hospital.

The tragic death of another injured woman today brings the total number of deaths in the Talwade fire tragedy to twelve. At Sassoon Hospital, Usha Padvi, Komal Chaure, Renuka Tathod, and Sharad Sutar—all injured in the incident—are presently undergoing medical care.
