Patna. Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief and Bihar minister Santosh Kumar Suman has targeted Rahul Gandhi over remarks concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy. Suman alleged that Rahul Gandhi mocked the Prime Minister’s foreign policy and his relations with international leaders. The statement came after Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students Ki Goonj’ programme in Indore.

According to reports, Rahul Gandhi commented during the Indore event on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy and the manner of his meetings with international leaders. A presentation was also held on the stage during the programme, which subsequently became a subject of political controversy. BJP leaders later criticised Rahul Gandhi and the Congress over the episode.

In his statement, Santosh Suman said the central government was working with sensitivity on international and national issues. He defended the government’s functioning while placing Rahul Gandhi’s remarks within the broader context of political criticism.

The issue has intensified political exchanges between the ruling side and the opposition. BJP leaders have objected to the mimicry and remarks concerning the Prime Minister at the event, while the political controversy is linked to Rahul Gandhi’s programme and his statements.
