New Delhi. There is a major update for customers planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. The company has reportedly increased the prices of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra in India by up to ₹20,000. The price revision is said to apply across all storage variants. Following the increase, the top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra model is now priced above ₹2 lakh.

The base Galaxy S26 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage was launched at ₹87,999. Its price has now increased to ₹1,07,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant has gone from ₹1,07,999 to ₹1,27,999.

The Galaxy S26+ with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is now priced at ₹1,39,999, while the 512GB model costs ₹1,59,999. The two models were initially priced at ₹1,19,999 and ₹1,39,999, respectively.

The biggest change has been reported for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is now priced at ₹1,59,999, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB model costs ₹1,79,999. The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage has reached ₹2,09,999.

Why Have the Prices Increased?

The smartphone market is currently facing pressure from rising memory and other component costs. Growing demand related to AI has also affected demand for memory chips. However, Samsung has not provided a detailed official explanation for the reported price changes.

With the revised prices, the premium models in the Galaxy S26 series have become significantly more expensive than before. The 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra variant has now crossed the ₹2 lakh mark.
