Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has expressed concern over the growing misuse of artificial intelligence (AI). He said that as AI technology advances rapidly, its misuse is becoming increasingly alarming.

Speaking about the issue on the set of ‘Bigg Boss 20’, Salman criticised fake AI videos and AI voice dubbing. He said altering and using a person’s voice or video without their permission is a serious matter and that strict action should be taken against those involved.

The actor also said that people who create fake videos should be sent to jail. According to him, the misuse of AI technology can have serious consequences.

Salman said AI has advanced so rapidly that the technology now appears “scary” to him. Calling the matter extremely serious, he stressed the need for strict compliance with rules and action against those who violate them.

His statement comes at a time when AI-generated videos, voices and images are raising concerns around the world over privacy, consent and misinformation.
