Salman Khan expressed his anger over social media trolling during Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar, particularly targeting people who troll actresses over their weight, appearance and personal lives. His comments were understood to be in the context of recent trolling aimed at Katrina Kaif over her appearance after becoming a mother. However, Salman did not directly mention Katrina’s name during the show.

After Katrina Kaif became a mother, some social media users posted objectionable comments about changes in her appearance. Addressing the issue, Salman said that gaining weight after pregnancy is normal and that women should not be targeted over their bodies or weight. He said that when Katrina returns to films, she can focus on her fitness, but for now, she should be allowed to spend time with her family.

Salman also questioned the broader culture of social media trolling. He said some people make money through social media by commenting on others’ weight, faces, age, families, careers and even personal matters such as motherhood. According to him, putting someone down to gain popularity or earn money is not the right approach.

During the discussion, Salman also referred to trolling about his own age and appearance. Responding to trolls in his own style, he showed his fitness and said that the body cannot always remain the same as a person gets older.

Following Salman’s remarks, discussion on social media intensified around Katrina Kaif and his comments against body-shaming.
