Ranchi police have taken action against drug-related activities by recovering brown sugar and arresting two people, including a woman. According to police, the action was carried out on Saturday during a raid at a house in the Tetartoli-Jorar area.

Police had received information about suspected narcotics activity in the area. Acting on the information, a police team raided the concerned house. During the search, brown sugar was recovered, following which a woman and another person were detained and arrested from the spot.

Police are questioning both accused and trying to determine where the recovered narcotic substance had been brought from and to whom it was allegedly intended to be supplied. The role of other people potentially linked to the network is also being investigated.

So far, police have not made public the total quantity of brown sugar recovered or the detailed identities of the arrested persons. Further investigation is underway.
