Prayagraj: Police have claimed a breakthrough in the murder case of Samajwadi Party leader and former village head Pawan Yadav in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Police have arrested three accused in connection with the case. The initial investigation pointed to personal enmity as the reason behind the murder.

According to information, motorcycle-borne attackers opened fire at Pawan Yadav in the Handia police station area. He was seriously injured in the attack. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

After the incident, police began investigating the case and reached the accused on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence. According to police, the arrested accused are being questioned, and the weapon and motorcycle allegedly used in the crime have also been recovered.

Police are now trying to determine how the murder conspiracy was planned and whether any other person had a role in the incident. Further investigation is underway.
