There is important news for rail passengers in Muzaffarpur and surrounding areas. Due to construction work on Rajendra Bridge, changes have been made to the operation of several trains from September 19 to October 4. According to reports, the routes of around 383 trains will be affected during this period.

Because of the construction work, the routes of some trains have been changed, while some trains will operate at controlled speeds. Some services have also been partially cancelled or will be operated through alternative routes. The changes could affect passengers travelling not only from Muzaffarpur but also across North Bihar and other major railway routes.

The period of operational changes covers around 16 days. Passengers have therefore been advised to check their train’s route, timing and stoppages through official railway information before travelling.

According to the railway authorities, normal operations are expected to resume after the construction work is completed. During this period, passengers will need to plan their journeys while keeping possible delays and route changes in mind.
