Political exchanges have intensified in Delhi over an alleged incident in which a young man was reportedly slapped during a road inspection. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government over the incident, saying that the country’s Gen-Z expects honesty from the government.

Kejriwal’s comments came after a video surfaced from Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Verma’s road inspection in Tilak Nagar. Verma has been accused of slapping a young man in the video. The opposition has raised questions over the incident and the minister’s role.

Shortly after Kejriwal’s criticism, Parvesh Verma released a video message directly addressing Kejriwal, saying, “I warn you... you remember me, right?” Verma said he would not tolerate attempts by people associated with the opposition party to obstruct the government’s work.

In his message, Verma also targeted Aam Aadmi Party workers and said that any disruption to government functioning would not be accepted. His remarks indicate that the exchange between the two parties could intensify further.

The developments surrounding the alleged slap incident have once again brought the political confrontation between the BJP and AAP in Delhi into focus. While the AAP has questioned the government over the incident, Verma has issued a strong message to the opposition through his statement.
