Singapore: A Singapore court has sentenced an Indian national to 28 weeks, or more than six months, in prison. The accused was working as an IT service provider in Singapore. He was found guilty of putting the security of more than 18,000 ‘State Courts’ files at risk.

The case is related to the security of important digital files associated with Singapore’s judicial system. After hearing the case, the court sentenced the Indian national to imprisonment.

The accused Indian national was working as an IT service provider in Singapore. During his work, a case came to light involving the security of a large number of ‘State Courts’ files being affected.

According to the court, he was found responsible in the case of putting the security of more than 18,000 files at risk. Following this, the court sentenced him to 28 weeks in prison.
