Mumbai, September 25, 2026: Investigation agencies have intensified action in the alleged Drug Inspector examination paper leak case. Four more people, including two candidates, have reportedly been arrested. Following these arrests, the total number of people arrested in the case is said to have reached 11.

Investigators are examining allegations that the question paper reached certain people before the examination and was subsequently shared with others. The main focus of the investigation is to determine at what stage the question paper was leaked and who was involved.

The two arrested candidates are being questioned to determine how they allegedly obtained the question paper. The investigation team is also trying to establish how the candidates came into contact with the other accused. Mobile phones, electronic devices and other potential evidence linked to the case are also being examined.

According to police sources, the investigation was expanded based on earlier arrests, which reportedly provided information about some new suspects. Following this, four people were taken into custody for questioning and subsequently arrested. However, the exact role of the accused will become clear only after the investigation is completed.

The alleged paper leak has raised questions regarding examination transparency and the interests of candidates. Investigators are also trying to determine how many candidates may have been affected by the alleged leak and whether it has any connection with another examination or recruitment process.
