Nagpur: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) chief Abhijeet Dipke has announced another new campaign aimed at improving the condition of schools. After the ‘Fix Schools’ campaign, Dipke has now announced the launch of the ‘Fix Tribal Schools’ campaign. He announced the campaign in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Wednesday and said that under the initiative, the ground situation of government and other schools in tribal-dominated areas would be assessed.

According to Abhijeet Dipke, schools in tribal areas have been facing a lack of basic facilities for a long time. He said that during nearly 80 years since independence, adequate attention has not been given to the development of the education system in tribal areas. Through the new campaign, an effort will be made to understand the condition of school buildings, classrooms, teachers, drinking water, toilets, electricity and other essential facilities.

The CJP chief said that the objective of the campaign is to highlight issues related to providing better and quality education to tribal children. During the campaign, local residents, students, parents and teachers will also be consulted to gather information about the actual problems related to schools.

It is worth noting that several states, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand, have large tribal populations. Issues related to education and basic facilities in these areas have long been a subject of public discussion.

Through the ‘Fix Tribal Schools’ campaign, CJP is now preparing to bring the condition of schools in these areas into focus and raise questions related to the education system.
