A 33-year-old man was shot dead in Shirur in Maharashtra’s Pune district following a dispute over an old bar bill. The deceased has been identified as Harish Gangawane. The incident caused panic in the area.

According to police, Harish had a dispute with some people at a bar over an old bill. After the argument escalated, the accused allegedly shot him. Harish sustained serious gunshot injuries and died.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined. Police are also questioning eyewitnesses and using other technical evidence in an attempt to identify those allegedly involved.

Police have started investigating the reasons behind the murder and the role of the people involved. Further action in the case is underway.
