Chatra: Sensation spread in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Thursday after the body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered from a well. The incident is said to have taken place in the Kishanpur area under Sadar police station.

According to police, after receiving information that the youth’s body had been found in the well, a police team reached the spot and got the body brought out. The process of sending the body for post-mortem was then started.

The deceased’s family has refused to consider the death an accident and has raised suspicion of murder. The family has alleged that the youth may have been killed and his body thrown into the well. However, police have not yet confirmed the murder allegation.
